What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first dentist appointment at our Manhattan Dental Office is designed to be thorough, informative, and personalized to your needs. From the moment you walk through our doors, our goal is to create a sense of ease and confidence in your care.
Before you arrive, you’ll complete a few forms at home. This will give us insight into your medical and dental history and allow us to get to know you. Upon arrival, our friendly receptionist will welcome you and help check you in. From there, you’ll be guided to one of our state-of-the-art treatment rooms, where the dental assistant will review your health history and take any necessary X-rays to give us a clear view of your teeth and mouth.
Dr. Nadia Rodriguez will personally greet you to learn what brought you in, discuss your dental goals, and answer any questions you may have. Your comprehensive exam includes: an oral cancer screening, a detailed evaluation for signs of tooth decay or infection, and a full periodontal (gum) health assessment.
We will finish up your visit with a gentle, professional teeth cleaning. As she works, Dr. Rodriguez will make sure to give you some tailored oral hygiene tips and tricks to help you take care of your smile between dental visits.
