Speaking Engagements & Educational Outreach

Sharing knowledge so others can feel empowered, informed, and confident.

Cornell University - Dentistry as an Interdisciplinary Career Path

Dr. Rodriguez graduated from Cornell's Animal Science program, and a few years ago, the university invited her back to talk to students exploring careers outside the traditional veterinary track.

She shared her journey from animal science to dentistry—and how her love of sculpture, art, and hands-on work led her to a profession that blends science with creativity. She wanted students to see that they don't have to follow a straight path. Their interests can come together in ways they don't expect.

Glidewell Dental - Dentistry on the Rise Symposium

Glidewell is the largest dental laboratory in the world, and Dr. Rodriguez has been honored to speak at several of their events for dentists.

At their Dentistry on the Rise Symposium, she taught fellow clinicians how to use digital technology and patient simulations to create predictable, aesthetic results. The focus was on reproducibility—how to consistently achieve the outcomes patients are hoping for.

It was a chance to share the techniques she uses every day in her practice with dentists who are committed to doing excellent work.

Women's Empowerment Networking Group (WENG)

Dr. Rodriguez was invited to speak to a group of female entrepreneurs about the facial and dental changes that happen as we age.

She talked about how oral health influences facial aesthetics and overall confidence—and what can be done about it, from dental interventions to holistic approaches. It was a chance to combine education with empowerment, and help women understand how their smiles play a role in how they look and feel.

New York Junior League Health Fairs

At NYJL community health events, Dr. Rodriguez has taught volunteers about the basics of oral hygiene, preventive care, and daily habits that support long-term health.

Her goal is always to make dentistry feel approachable—especially for people who haven't always had positive dental experiences. If someone walks away with one new habit or a better understanding of their own mouth, that's a win.

Lutheran Children's Services of New York - Youth Education Workshop

One of the most meaningful parts of Dr. Rodriguez's outreach work has been teaching kids in the Bronx about nutrition, dental habits, and why it's important to care for their teeth starting young.

She designs her lessons to be fun and memorable—because she wants kids to feel proud of their smiles and confident that they can take care of them. Teaching children is a chance to set them up for a lifetime of healthy habits.
